The COVID-19 Member Dues Appreciation Program provides that 100% of all Club and Athletic Center dues paid by members from when the Club closed, March 18, 2020, until the date the Club reopens, will be posted to the member’s account that can be used for Club charges in the future.

The accumulated amount from all paid dues during the period the Club is closed will be totaled, prorated and available for use against Club usage charges in equal amounts every month after the Club reopens over a four-month period. These funds must be utilized within 120 days from the date the Club reopens. All reimbursements will be posted to the member account the billing cycle following when the usage charges are incurred.

As an example, if total dues paid during the Club closure equals $600 (actual amount varies depending on dues category), the member will receive $150 posted to their account each month for four months once the Club reopens. The amount may be used for any of the following services:

• Member dining • Catering and social events• Business meetings • Member events (Holiday Brunches, Speaker Series, Wine Events) • Inn at the Club room nights

Throughout its 135 year history, The Fort Worth Club has endured many challenges and on each occasion its members have stood firm in their support. We as members of this storied institution have the responsibility to protect and preserve the economic viability and longevity of the Club. Revenue from member dues are critical to provide the funds to cover fixed and continuing operating costs during this unprecedented closure we are experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In appreciation for your ongoing dues commitment, the Board of Governors, working with the Finance and Membership Committee chairs and management, has approved The COVID-19 Member Dues Appreciation Program.

This program is a stimulus package to promote optimal dues revenue during the period of closure and demonstrate appreciation to the membership.

All members are also respectfully reminded that in the event they do elect to resign their membership, readmission to The Fort Worth Club will require a new application, Membership Committee and Board approval, and payment of the initiation fee in place at the time the application is submitted. The current initiation fee is $1750 for members over the age of 40.

As the leadership of The Fort Worth Club communicates on a daily basis to ensure that the Club complies with federal, state and local government guidelines and policies, we are united in an earnest desire to return to our normal personal and professional lives as soon as it is safe to do so. In the meantime, on behalf of the Board of Governors, we wish you and your family good health and patience as we navigate these unprecedented times.
