Thank you, donors
• VFW Charles H. Schoor Post 796 donated backpacks and school supplies, including folders, glue sticks, crayons, and hand sanitizer, with a total estimated value of $800, to students of Cleveland and Crull Elementary Schools.
• First Books awarded a $500 grant to Crull Elementary School. The funds will be used to purchase novel sets, chosen by teacher, for students in grades 3 through 5.
• Hungry Howies donated 487 pizza certificates, with a total value of $1,434, to Indian Woods Elementary. Each student will have received a certificate on Count Day, October 7, 2015, with the balance to be awarded through individual teacher activities.

• Jessica Herber chose Roosevelt Elementary to donate a 5,000 Bonus Box TopⓇ Certificate from General Mills. Ms. Herber won the certificate through the Kroger Back-to-School Box TopsⓇ for Education Giveaway. The certificate’s trade-in value of $500 will be used to fund Roosevelt’s PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support System).
• Famous Footwear in Port Huron has delivered school supplies donated through an in store collection drive. The supplies have an estimated value of $260 and will be given to the district’s Educational Continuity Program (ECP).
• AXA Advisors donated $500 to help fund the District’s New Teacher Orientation held on August 25, 2015. - $250
