1998 – Bluetooth Special Interest Group formed

1999 – Bluetooth 1.0 specification released

2000 – First mobile phone and headset

2004 – Bluetooth 2.0 specification released

2006 – Bluetooth SIG announces integration

with WiMedia Alliance version of UWB

Nearly 2 billion products shipped in 10 years
