How to create a blog at Blogger.com

1.Go to www.blogger.com.2.Click on the big orange button.

3. Now you’ll have to create a Google Account. If you use gMail, then you already have a Google account.4. Click “Continue.”

5. Now it’s time to choose a name. Many common names will be taken, but you should be able to find something that works if you append “atspscc” such as “english201atspscc.”

6. You’ll need to choose a template. There are several to choose from.

7. Now you’re ready to submit your first post. Give it a title, and then put text in the text box. You can also add embed code from YouTube or other video host. Be sure that you have chosen the “Edit Html” tab when you add the code. 8. Use the “Compose” tab if you want to

use the formatting tools.

9. In order to allow comments on your site, click on the “Settings” tab.

10. Then click on the “Comments” tab.

11. Be sure that the “Comments” setting is “Show” and “Who Can Comment” is “Anyone.” That way students won’t have to open an account in order to comment on your posts.

12. Now you’re ready to go!
