For the last few years, I always dreamed of being a magazine editor. However, the more I research, the more worried I get. Competition is huge in a business like this and I know that I want to have a family someday so I have realized this might not be the job for me since it includes long and intense hours. I love to write but I am more of a creative writer, rather than a journalist who exposes the truth.

My Reaction

I could see myself being a teacher because I have always enjoyed working with kids and passing on my knowledge to them. This is a very rewarding job; seeing your students finally grasp a concept is the best feeling in the world. I would love to have the chance to work with kids who are determined to learn and be a great role model to many that I meet. However, I see this as a job that I can fall back on if my first plan falls through.

My Reaction

This was a job that I didn’t think I would like until I learned more about it. I can see myself being that college student that falls in love with her college and wants to stay there forever. This is a great opportunity for me to work at college and help other students with things I will soon be going through. Working with admissions, financial aid, or student life are three topics I find interesting and I could see myself in a career like this.
