My grandfather took me to

Adventure Park today. It is a

fun place for children to go.

We rode on a bus to get there.

There are many things to do at

My favorite is the rides. One

ride

looks like a big mountain with

snow

on top. You sit in train cars

and ride

up and down the mountain. My

grandfather and I laughed

and shouted when we rode

quickly around the curves.

After the rides, my

grandfather

treated me to an ice cream

cone.

As we sat down to eat, a

parade passed by. We saw

funny clowns driving tiny

cars and tall

clowns walking on stilts.

Next, we played a ring toss

game. I threw a ring around a

stick and

won a prize. It was a toy bear.

I will bring it home and keep it

in my

room to remember my special

Bible Lesson: Hope

In most texts, “hope” is a feeling.

It is a wish, a desire for something

to happen. In the Bible, “hope”

has a specific meaning. It is a

promise that something will happen

in the future.

Bible Lesson: Hope

Christians are promised that

Jesus Christ will return. We have

the “hope” of his return. This hope

gives us strength to keep going

in this life when times are hard.

Bible Lesson: Hope

Brothers, we do not want you to be

ignorant about those who fall

asleep, or to grieve like the rest

of men, who have no hope.

I Thessalonians 4:14

Bible Lesson: Hope

According to the Lord’s own

word,

we tell you that we who are

still alive, who are left till the

coming of the Lord, will

certainly not precede

those who have fallen asleep.

I Thessalonians 4:15

Bible Lesson: Hope

We believe that Jesus died

and rose again and so we believe

that God will bring with Jesus

those who have fallen asleep in him.

I Thessalonians 4:16

Bible Lesson: Hope

After that, we who are still

alive and are left will be

caught up together with

them in the clouds to meet

the Lord in the air. And so

we will be with the Lord

forever.

I Thessalonians 4:17

Bible Lesson: Hope

Therefore encourage each

other

with these words.I Thessalonians 4:18

We don't know when it will

happen,

but we know that it will

happen.

Bible Verse

But our citizenship is

in heaven. And we eagerly

await a Savior from there,

the Lord Jesus Christ,

Philippians 3:20

Song: “When We All Get to Heaven”

Sing the wondrous love of Jesus,

Sing His mercy and His grace;

In the mansions bright and blessed

He’s prepared for us a place..

Song: “When We All Get to Heaven”

Refrain:

When we all get to heaven,

What a day of rejoicing that will be!

When we all see Jesus,

We’ll sing and shout the victory!

Song: “When We All Get to Heaven”

While we walk the pilgrim pathway,

Clouds will overspread the sky;

But when trav’ling days are over,

Not a shadow, not a sigh.

Song: “When We All Get to Heaven”

Refrain:

When we all get to heaven,

What a day of rejoicing that will be!

When we all see Jesus,

We’ll sing and shout the victory!

Song: “When We All Get to Heaven”

Let us then be true and faithful,

Trusting, serving every day;

Just one glimpse of Him in glory

Will the toils of life repay.

Song: “When We All Get to Heaven”

Refrain:

When we all get to heaven,

What a day of rejoicing that will be!

When we all see Jesus,

We’ll sing and shout the victory!
