Having local or general-interest questions is fine and most are doing it pretty well. Give them incentive to interact directly with your posts. Movie tickets, oil changes, etc. work very well.

The Fresh Trade Page

• Post pictures of a trade as soon as it is received.

• Get pictures or videos of the previous owner “saying goodbye”.

• Ask for comments, even being so bold as to ask how much the car is worth.

• ______________________• ______________________

Liking and interacting with a Facebook page is about exclusivity and enjoyment. The enjoyment part is easy. Exclusivity is harder. Give them a reason to see something others will not.

Local Business Involvement

• Create a coupon page for a local business that’s only accessible by those who like your page.

• Be sure to have an extra hoop to jump through… have them post a catchphrase such as “Getting $1 off my Java Chip Mocha at Howie’s Coffee thanks to Wilbur Chevy.

• _________________________• _________________________• _________________________

Some campaigns happen elsewhere. You can cross-promote with a local restaurant, specialty shop, or anyone who the dealership has (or will have) a relationship with.

• Special coffee? Massage chairs? Tie them into Facebook wall posts.

Getting people while they’re waiting for service is the easiest way to get interaction on the page.
