The Pelvis is a wonderfully complex piece of architecture in the middle of the body.

How many bones in a pelvis?Maybe 3, maybe 16

The leg starts at the 12th rib - and includes 20 or so muscles surrounding the hip joint.

The lateral attachment of the

pelvic floor (iliococcygeus) is to the obturatur internus fascia.

And the continuation of the adductor magnus fascia goes over

the ischium on the inside to this arcuate line
