Betty Castor’s Visit to Carol

City Elementary School

A Proud Project RISE School

Mrs. Castor’s visit began with a tour of the CollaborativeNutrition Initiative Garden, sponsored by The EducationFund, and maintained by first and second grade classrooms!

The team was then welcomed by our official Second Grade Greeters!

After a delicious breakfast and interview of Project RISEparticipants, the team began classroom visitations!

Mrs. Castor stopped to chat with Mrs. Anitra Tarpley, a National Board candidate.

The team made a quick visit to the Carol City Elementary Discovery Lab

They also took the time to examine student work samples!
