Apply a ‘Ramsien’ sense of simplicity to a more organic set of forms. Discover an elegant solution to expelling whiskers.

Ideation Objective:

Curvature of form could offerimproved control in awkwardshaving positions.

Tapered Body

An exposed vibrationmechanism could expelwhiskers as they get caught.

Exposed Grate

How can whiskers easily beemptied without takingapart the whole product?

Easy-Empty

Less design- but OrganicAesthetics that remain modestand refined while breaking freeof anti-ergonomic, rectilinearforms.

ERGONOMIC TEST MODEL

Shaver fits comfortably in hand; but only for right-handed users.

Head slides comfortably across top of shaver,

...and empties whiskers onto the index finger.

but not backwards as sketches intended...

Could axis of symmetry be on the side to accommodate righties and lefties?

Open up head and movethumb out of whisker-pathwith one motion.

Rotated Symmetry

Honing in on a comfortable, organic form that’s still refined enough for Braun.

Hybrid Aesthetics

Thumb Swipe

Open up head and movethumb out of whisker-pathwith one motion.

Shaver fits comfortably in hand; for either right or left-handed users.

Naturally flick thumb backwards to move shaver head away from motor.

Empty whiskers without getting on hand.

Highly ergonomic body isachieved through economical use of the inside.

Space saving inner

Assymetircal body mirrors curves of hand and hints to user which end to grab.

Assymetrical Body

Highly ergonomic body isachieved through economical use of the inside.

Hold shaver naturally, slide back thumb to empty whiskers.

Meaningful designthat fits in your hand.

Concept sketches with a growing, muscular look to conveyexpandability.

Muscle Inspired

How could the shoulderstraps double as utensilholders?

Access to Supplies

Aesthetics of the tubeneed to coincide withdynamism of backpack.

Tube Integration

Can the bag be madecompattible with a largecapacity tackle box?

Tackle Box

Compartmental ormodular aesthetic wouldcommunicate versatilityof bag.

Honest Aesthetics

Expandable front bladder allowsfor tackle box to be stored.

Circular front pocket functionshorizontally as well as vertically.

Straps thread through storage tubeand backpack body, allowing bag

to be worn as messenger by itself.

Articulated upper structurecould increase pliability,

prevent destructiveeffects of creases.

Concepts utilizing debossed lines to prevent creases; textile

meshes to fight wrinkling.

Final design after marketing and development revisions.
