Weservethecommunityinwhichwereside,theprofessionsforwhichwepreparenewmembersand,ultimately,thesocietywhoseculturewebothsustainandadvance.TheUniversity’sgoalistodirecteachstudent’squestforcreativeself-expressiontowardaproductiveroleinsociety.Ourprogramsdevelopthestudent’stalent,aestheticsensibility,conceptualandperceptualacumen,culturalawareness,andprofessionalexpertise.Thecurriculaintegratespecificknowledgeandskillsneededfortechnicalmasteryofthevariousartsdisciplineswithasignificantexaminationofconceptualandhumanisticstudies.
