render to the human community when he said:

“If we work upon marble, it will perish.

If we work upon brass, it will efface it.

If we tear temples, they will crumble to dust.

But if we work upon men’s immortal minds,

If we imbue them with high principles,

With just the fear of God and love of their fellow man,

Prayer

All: Lord, I pray for the Spirit’s giftsof knowledge and wisdom and understanding.

I pray for the ability to makebalanced judgments and choices,And for the courage then to dowhat I realized I am called to do:

Courage to defeat the obstacles of fear and uncertainty and courage to give me strength and determination and perseverance.

May your Spirit lead me to have great respect and reverence for all creation for each person, so that all that I see may lead me to grow in awareness of your love and your presence.

Our Father

Closing Song:

Come build my Church its falling to ruin That what the Father tells me to do Give stones and mortar, lets build together this lowly house of God

Come build my Church its falling to ruinThat’s what the Father tells me to do Give stones and mortar, lets build together This lowly house of God

To ev’ry town and village and valleysPreach what the good Lord has done for usTell of His mercy, sing of His love Let man glorify His name.

Be poor in spirit and in your living Live like the larks and

doves up above Care not for what this world can provide us Trust in God’s loving care.

Praised be the Lord Praised be the LordPraised be the Lord, O my soul O praise the Lord Praise the Lord.
