Classroom Policies

• Check constantly your STU e-mail and Bb.• Face-2-Face attendance is mandatory on

Wednesdays• You must work at least 6 hours per week in

ALEKS.• Quizzes are taken immediately after

completing a slice of the pie.• Quizzes taken during instructor’s office

hours.• Retake quizzes until earning at least 70%.

• Pie must be completed by the week prior finals.

• Incomplete grade is granted if pie is completed and 3/4 of the quizzes were taken by end of course.

• Class projects must be published in the Internet by the end of face-2-face class meeting.

• Read course syllabus for other policies.

To pass this course…

• Complete whole pie in ALEKS.

• Pass every quiz with at least 70% .

• Your overall average must be at least 70%

Students can exit this course and be placed in the next higher level math course if they score 90% in the Initial Assessment that will be administered during the first week of the course.
