Packaged in a rugged,easily transportable transit case weighing less than60 pounds, the compact Base Station leverages thefield-proven handheld radio and vehicular AN/PRC-148products to provide a low-risk, high-performance solutionfor command post and base operations communicationsrequirements.Withacommonhumanmachine interface,users familiar with any of the AN/PRC-148 familyproducts can immediately operate theBaseStation. Thiscommonality also translates into a simpler sustainmentconcept and faster repair times because fewer elementsneed to be stocked for field or depot repair.
