Agri-Clad: Protecting Patients during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Presented by Chameleon Wrapping and Lamination

Temporary Hospitals and Shelters

There is an urgent need to provide temporary hospitals and facilities to COVID-19 patients and temporary shelters to displaced individuals.

Current Situation

Currently, hospitals and temporary shelter applications are utilizing curtains, or other light-weight material, to separate patients, individuals, and animals.

To maintain sanitation, these curtains must be removed, washed, dried, and hanged.

The fabric’s porous material also does not fully separate patients.

Solution: Agri-Clad

We believe that utilizing PVC wall panels during the COVID-19 crisis provides a safer, cleaner, and sturdier barrier. Given the panels’ chemical resistance, they can be easily cleaned and sanitized.

Agri-Clad are our Heavy Duty interlocking PVC panels. They are portable and can be assembled in various ways to separate larger areas into smaller spaces. They are easy to assemble/disassemble by two people.

Here are examples of other possible configurations that can be made out of our Heavy Duty Planking panels.

These panels are 12” wide x 1 3/8” thick.

Panel Barriers in Practice

Here are examples of panel applications beginning to be utilized in Ontario hospitals to safely create patient barriers. We are distributing similar panels here in Edmonton, Alberta - which are readily available in North America.
