RECYCLING RATE INCREASE
Recycling rates charged on the bi-monthly utility bills
have increased effective July 1, 2020. You will notice this
increase on the July-August, 2020 billing which will be
mailed out on September 1, 2020. The rates are
increasing from $5.00 per month ($10.00 on the bi-
monthly bill) to $6.00 per month ($12.00 on the bi-
monthly bill). This is due to the increased costs for the
pickup and delivery of the recyclables from town to the
recycling facility and administrative costs.
Thank you for recycling and for doing your part to divert
waste from the landfill!

To encourage participation in municipal governance and increase understanding of what it means to be on council,

everyone from a Saskatchewan city, town, or village, this one hour session will be held on September 1 at6:30 p.m.
In coordination to Local Government will cover what the role of council is, what your responsibilities are as
councillor, and more.
On September 9, Municipalities of Saskatchewan will be holding session where town residents will have the chance
to ask a panel of individuals experienced in municipal governance their questions.

Prairie Oasis Fitness Club
The restrictions set upon 24hr unstaffed gyms have
been relaxed. We are planning on opening August 17th
but still with some COVID restrictions. We will ask
patrons to join “What’s App” to book workout times.
No more than 4 patrons in the gym at a time. Please
maintain physical distancing of 2 meters at all times.
Sanitize all equipment before and after you use it. You
will have to fill out an assessment tool before you start
your workout. If you are sick at all, please don’t come
to the gym that day! We are asking for volunteers to
wipe down door knobs, light switches, sinks and taps
daily. A cleaning list well be posted. If we work
together and are respectful of others we can be safe &
fit!

Eatonia Oasis Living July 2020
Hello everyone! All is well at EOL! We are enjoying the nice weather. We were under restrictions for a
couple of weeks, due to the increase of cases in the area, but are now slowly opening up again with out
door visits. Appointments must be made ahead of time and visitors will be screened prior to visit. We
thank everyone for their part in keeping our residents and staff safe!
We currently have 19 residents at EOL. We would like to welcome Bernie Bredy to our home! We also
have Betty King staying with us for respite care. It has been great getting reacquainted with both of you!
Our best goes out to Evelyn Hoffman, Lennie Bews and Bob Douglas who celebrated birthdays in June
and July! Thank you to the staff who made their day special! Check out our facebook page for pictures! ___________________________________________________________________________________________
Just so you know…
We can now accept gifts of flowers, cards, reading material.
Facetime visits can be arranged! Thanks to the PCCU, we have two iPads to use for this! The residents
think its pretty neat!
Emails can be sent to eol@sasktel.net if you want to send a message to any of the residents! ___________________________________________________________________________________________________
Growing Project 2020
Eatonia Oasis Living is partnering with local organizations and farmers to complete
our third Growing Project which is now underway!
If any organization or individual would like to financially support this program, a
donation can be made through EOL and a charitable receipt will be issued. An
account is also set up at Nutrien Ag Solutions and payments can also be made there
to cover some of the expenses, if that is a better option for you.
If you have any questions or would like more information please contact Krista
Stevens by email eol@sasktel.net or phone 306-460-7552.
Watch for further updates!!
