Theme for

August-September 2013 :

TAARE ZAMEEN PAR…

"A child is a gift of God, a blessing from

above, a picture of purity

and innocence.

As Rabindranath Tagore says, 'every child

comes with a message that God is not yet

discouraged of man'.

Every child is a star on earth, is special,

who enriches and cleanses the soul, an

empty canvas, waiting to be painted with

love."

kids have participated in

and replay it for them.

They will be elated to see themselves

on screen!

Each Bridge Builder can walk down the ramp with one child.

This activity can be made more interesting if the kids can make their own outfits and accessories first, and

then walk the ramp.

3. Cooking contest

A fun cook along session with kids can be

organized in which they can cook their

favorite food.

A competitive atmosphere can be created

too by having a cooking competition.

The kids can put on their aprons and

baking mitts to bake and decorate

cookies / cakes /chocolates, always a

child’s favourite.

recycled old dupattas &socks and

puppets.

8. Kiddie Photography

A photo session is always fun. The kids can

go behind the camera and click pictures of

things they love the most. They can also be

given a prize for the best picture.

A photo booth can be set up with fun

accessories for the kids leaving them with

pictures of memories they can cherish

forever !

9. Karaoke

A fun karaoke session will pep up their

mood and brighten the atmosphere.

Have a 90's style 'antakshari' or

'dumb charade ', kids would love to participate and act.

10. Field trip

Organize educational field trips for

the children to make the learning

process fun.

11. Educational Movies

Children love movies and what better way

to stimulate their grey cells than to show

them an educational movie.

A discussion forum post the movie will

increase the participation if it is coupled

with prize distribution for the best answers.
