Concert Band Audition Repertoire:

• Wolfgang A. Mozart - Concerto in G Major, K.313. Mov. I. Measure 31-90 (Exposition) • Maurice Ravel- Bolero. Measure 5 to #1 • Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky (Arr. Bourgeois) -Dances from The Oprichnik. #38-62

Wolfgang A. Mozart- Concerto for flute in G Major, K. 313. Mov I. Measure 31-90 (exposition) We are using the Bärenreiter edition of the Concerto in G Major, so make sure you familiarize yourself with the format of this edition. You will see solo and tutti sections in the music. You will be required to play the solo sections and count the rests, even as long as 2 measures long. To prepare it would be advisable to do some score study and listening to good recordings of the Concerto while following the part and score if you have it.
