1 TRANSITION BETWEEN PRIMARY AN SECONDARY SCHOOL
Subjects are grouped by fields to reduce jump between primary and secondary.Science field: Mathematics + Biology.Language field: Catalan (mother tongue) + Spanish
When pupils arrive at our school, we have already got information about them from their primary school.
2 FLEXIBLE GROUPS
In some subjects, such as maths, languages and science, students are removed from their group class and put in sets.
3 PROGRAMMES TO HELP STUDENTS TO GET THEIR SCHOOL CERTIFICATE.3.1.- A SPECIAL NEEDS TEACHER.In the 1st cycle of ESO, they help students with special needs to achieve their minimum skills.
3.2.- A DETERRENCE PROGRAMME to prevent students from truancy and dropping out.- Available for 15-year-old students in the 1st cycle of ESO.- Classes are more practical to encourage students to continue studying, to achieve a Curricular diversification programme in the 2nd cycle of ESO.
3.3.- CURRICULAR DIVERSIFICATION.
These students are taught separately, because there are specific basic courses for Science, Maths and Languages.
Available in the 2nd cycle of ESO for students who are 15 or older who had to repeat the course.
Available for those who can’t achieve their educational goals, but they have a good learning attitude.
3.4.- INITIAL PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION PROGRAMME.
They receive special courses in gardening.
Available for reluctant 16-year-old students who can’t remain in ESO.
It is their last chance to obtain their certificate in a normal school environment.
Some of the benefits they can get are…A card that allows them to have discounts in local shops and stores.
4 PROGRAMMES TO BOOST GOOD STUDENTS TO ACHIEVE FURTHER SILLS..
4.1.- THE EXCELLENCE PROGRAMME. It is a virtual classroom. Only very good students with high marks can be members.

4.2.- MULTILINGUAL PROGRAMME.Some non-compulsory subjects are taught in English. CLIL method.Next year some compulsory classes will be taught in a foreign language.

Some of our students have been contestants in regional and national competitions in different fields such as Science, Literature, Arts and Music.These competitions are held annually and our school takes part in them, obtaining medals almost every year.
