We’d like to tell you about some of these resources, so you can engage with IF:Gathering all year long...
IF:Table is a monthly meal and conversation. We provide four questions each month. You invite a few women, break bread and learn about God and one another through community. You can read more about IF:Table on the following pages. IF:Equip is a simple tool that has gathered an online community of tens of thousands of women who encourage and challenge one another. Each day we dive into Biblical truths, with a video and a few questions for processing. You can read more about IF:Equip on the following pages.
IF:Pray is when we gather around the world and humble ourselves before God in prayer. We believe God hears and answers prayers and we want our focus to be a time of seeking the Lord in this way in our communities. Stay tuned for more information about this year’s IF:Pray gathering.
Thank you for coming. We hope that it will be used for the glory of God and the good of others.

Jennie is a teacher and builder of tools that help women get to the core of their need for God. She shares her & her husband Zac’s story of surrender in Anything and helps women untangle their purpose in Restless. IF:Gathering was birthed out of God’s vision for her life to disciple a generation. In addition to leading IF, writing, and teaching, Jennie juggles four catalytic children in Austin, TX.
Amena Brown is a poet, speaker, au-thor & truth teller. Her words -- both spoken and written -- excite, ignite and inspire. In Breaking Old Rhythms, we are reminded and encouraged to believe that God’s love carries us beyond our daily rhythms into a more fulfilling life. When not performing, you can find her in Atlanta with her husband Matt, aka DJ Opdiggy.

Her loves include the Atlanta Falcons, her OPI nail polish ‘I’m a Go Glitter,’ her community of friends, and all things Nashville.
Debbie loves people well. You can find her almost any day of the week at a cof-fee shop or gathered with a small group of women in her home in Southern Cal-ifornia. Many women’s ministry leaders across the country call her a mentor and a friend. She loves watching her teen-age son play football and cares deeply about seeing the next generation love God.

Margaret’s life can best described as a journey of Scouting the Divine. A can-cer survivor, she challenges us all to Fight Back with Joy -- a defiant joy that carries us through the valleys of life. Margaret and some smart friends gather a couple times a year to pour into writ-ers of all ages at their Writer’s Boot Camp. This avid adventurer is happiest traveling with her husband, Leif, and
her dog, Hershey, in tow.

As Director of National Strategy and Interven-tions with IJM in Delhi, Anjali led her team to help rescue close to 5,000 bonded labourers in 19 of India’s 29 states, in the last 5 years. She has overseen the training of more than 17,000 police, government officials, NGO staff and others on the rescue and rehabilita-tion of bonded labourers and has taught them how to bring criminals to justice. A victim of violence herself, Anjali decided to make a commitment to get involved in work that makes justice for the poor possible. A lawyer by profession, Anjali holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Edith Cowan University, Australia and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University. She is 1 of the top 10 women he-roes finalists of the Reuters Foundation Trust

Shelley is half of the heart and brain be-hind Passion Conference, Passion City Church, and sixsteprecords. Shelley and her husband Louie are two of the most loved and respected individuals on the planet — having poured into hundreds of thousands of students for the last two decades. She loves noth-ing more than being surrounded by her family on the ranch in Texas and at home in the ATL with her goldendoo-dle, London.
Jen has the gift of making us all feel a little less crazy by giving voice to all the things we think but aren’t brave enough to say. Mostly she wants to help the world see Jesus For The Love that He is. She and her husband Brandon have a heart for social justice and want to mo-bilize people to be a part of creating sustain-able change in their hometown of Austin and around the world through The Legacy Col-lective. When she’s not writing, speaking on the Belong Tour, or making an appearance on HGTV, you can find her cuddled up with one of her five kids watching reruns of “Gilmore Girls” or “Parenthood.”

Rebekah believes that survivors make the most beautiful people. She loves nothing more than watching women walk in freedom and bravely shares her own story of surrender in Freefall to Fly. She is passionate about how faith and culture intersect and she and her husband Gabe founded Q Ideas to help Christians explore how to embrace the gospel in public life. While speaking often pulls her away from home, she always rushes back to Nashy to spend some time with her three not-so-littles.
Esther has captured iconic imagery for charity: water, TOMS, and many more organizations that impact our world for good. More than a photographer, she is a storyteller -- capturing not just a per-son’s portrait but also a sense of who they are and what makes them shine. She believes we are all better together and is grateful to be a part of the Dallas creative community at Weld. She loves investing in the next generation, and sharing her skills and her old cameras with young apprentice photographers
around the world.

Vivian has dedicated her life to dis-cipleship and ministry through CRU, formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ. She and her husband Darrin work with EPIC, the Asian-American ministry of CRU, to raise up the next generation of Asian-American leaders to be equipped to impact their family, community, church, and the world with the message of God’s love and forgive-ness. A breast cancer survivor -- Vivi-an’s first book, Warrior in Pink, doc-uments her journey from recovery and is a great resource for anyone trying to respond to a cancer diagnosis.
Tasha is a justice fighter, a bridge builder and a champion of people. Through the work of her non-profit Be The Bridge, she is fostering healthy dialogue around the topic of race. She hopes for the Church to be known as a credible witness for true Biblical unity for the glory of God. She loves spending time with friends and family and does whatever she can to avoid the Texas heat, bugs, and birds.

Lindsey has invested so much of herself -- her giftings, passions, and time -- into making the IF:Gathering vision what it is today. Though you may not see her on many stages or bookshelves, her impact and influence is recognized by so many. A genuine includer and connector, Lindsey is loyal and well loved. When she’s not traveling the world, you’ll find her snuggled up on the couch with her
dogs Maisy and Molly.
Christy’s life and songs inspire and re-mind us to “Let It Be Jesus” first and foremost. She is passionate about pour-ing into the next generation of worship leaders through the Worship Leader Collective. She lives in Nashville with
her two kids and her husband Nathan.

Bianca is a wife, a stepmom, a writer, and a Bible teacher. When she’s not hard at work creating campaigns for the A21 Campaign or helping launch Propel Women, she loves to curl up in her robe with her chubby dachs-hund Ricci and read a good book. She and her husband Matt are passionate about building the Church in the United States and around the world.
If IF was “The Hunger Games,” we are pretty sure Melissa would be one of our victors. She can basically do it all. (Except she insisted you know she can’t ever get Christmas cards out and she depends on Trader Joes for meals). When she’s not mothering her two boys, she’s traveling the world and protecting the poor. Her official title at IJM is the SVP of Global Advancement. She might live in Washing-ton, D.C. but like any proper Texas Long-horn, she still loves Austin. She believes that God in His graciousness has provided a role for every Christian in His work of seeking justice and is excited to help you find your place as a justice fighter.

IF:Equip is a tool designed to help you spend time in scripture and unpack Biblical
truths in community. Five days a week we dive into a book of the Bible or a passage
of scripture around a central theme. We provide questions for journaling, processing
and spiritual growth a new video every day that helps give insight into the passage.
There is something so beautiful and powerful about women from all over the world
gathering together in the Word -- encouraging, challenging, and praying for one an-
other.
“It is a great way to start my day. Love hearing different women discuss
God’s word. As a church planter’s wife, it is such a great tool to be able
to share with other women. Lots of women ask, ‘How do I start reading
the Bible?’ It is such a great resource to point them to use!” – Heather
“Loving it. It has been really effective in getting me in the word more
than other studies. It is simple, I LOVE journaling, and I look forward
to the short clips.” – Amber
Want to be a part of the next study and learn about all things IF:Equip?
i f : e q u i p
While we adore getting together here at the IF:Gathering, we know that so much of our relationships take place within the context of homes and around tables. That’s why we dreamed up the idea of IF:Table. The goal here is simple: two hours, four questions,
six women.
We based these numbers on Acts 2:46, which says, “And day by day, attending the tem-ple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and
generous hearts.”
It doesn’t have to be anything fancy or orchestrated. It could be a potluck or takeout or breakfast food. But what matters is that you pull up chairs to the table and ask questions that reveal where you are at in a real, authentic way. Our hope is that as women come together at the table, they are able to be known and get to know others and live out disci-pleship in an environment that is safe and personal. Each IF:Table has a flavor of its own
because every woman brings her own uniqueness — which we love!
We provide the questions every month and sometimes a recipe or a story to go along with inspiration for gathering around the table. Our prayer is that as you invite people into your home, you will find that you can welcome one another to follow after Jesus in the ordinary, everyday lives that you lead in the places God has put you.

Arriving in Rwanda was like arriving home. I
grew up in Nigeria, another African country,
and my parents still live there. I wasn’t shocked
or amazed by the dirt roads, women carrying
loads on their heads, toddlers backing babies
(or carrying machetes), or even the juxtaposi-
tion of the level of comfort that was available
to the wealthy few against the sheer poverty of
the majority. In fact, before going on this trip,
I was a little bit skeptical about the idea of child
sponsorships. Are lives really changed? Does
life really change?
I’m not sure about other organizations, but with
Africa New Life, I got to see firsthand that it
definitely does. With every child we met, and ev-
ery home visit we did, there were stories of hope
and redemption that flowed out. The gratitude
everyone expressed was never just for them-
selves, but for how the sponsorship allowed
them to help their community and their country.
There is a saying that goes, “If you give a man a
fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man
to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.” Someone in
Rwanda added another line to that: “If you teach
him how to own the pond, he can feed his whole
community.” Let’s just say, by the end of the
trip, I was a believer in Africa New Life and their
child sponsorship program.

As a teenager eager to build a better life for herself, Tavi* followed her boyfriend
to Mumbai in search of a job, but Tavi’s boyfriend betrayed her and sold her to a
brothel in Kamathipura, one of the largest red-light areas in Asia. She endured
humiliation and abuse for over three years. “It was a very painful time for me. I
was extremely unhappy. They [the brothel keepers] would always keep us inside
and we never knew what was happening in the outside world.” At first, Tavi tried
to fight back by refusing to see customers, but the owner beat her. Most days, Tavi
was forced to see up to six customers. She tried to run away but her every move
was watched to make sure she didn’t escape. In August 2011, a team of IJM staff
and police rescued Tavi and two other young women. Tavi spent a year living at
an aftercare shelter where she learned to make jewelry, took beautician courses
and regularly met with her IJM social worker, Sheela. Today, Tavi earns a steady
income at a handicrafts company, and lives in a transitional home for survivors of
sex trafficking. “I never gave up. I was always hoping that one day, I will be out of
this place and God has changed my life fully,” Tavi shared.

More than any other time in history, peo-
ple from every generation are asking, “Do I
matter?” We desire to matter today for our
families, our communities, and ourselves.
By brewing Phoenix Roasters coffee, you
matter. In Honduras, our missionary part-
ner started a coffee co-op among the in-
digenous Lenca Indian tribe. Six of these
farmers are single mothers who are being
dignified by growing great coffee. In Guate-
mala, our missional farmers and partners are
growing coffee that creates funds to build
homes for single mothers in the indigenous
rural village of San Juan Moca. In Panama,
our missional farmers are directly funding
87 missionaries around the globe, 17 of
which, are women. When you choose Phoe-
nix Roasters specialty grade, direct-trade
coffee, your choice matters. The cause of
Christ will shine through this cycle of relief,
by significantly increasing the living wage
to workers on coffee farms, working to stop
domestic abuse, strengthening families, and
ending homelessness locally and around
the world. When you purchase Coffee That

“As a nurse, I am always inspired by any-
thing that has meaning. I purchased a key
with the word FAITH on it. Yesterday I gave
my key away to a 32 year old breast cancer
patient. She had just finished chemo and
had her final surgery and spoke of how this
journey has made her faith stronger. She
spoke of how she used to pray only when she
needed a blessing, now she prays everyday
not only for herself, but also for others who
need her prayers. She had tears in her eyes
and promised to pass on the key when she
meets the right person to receive it. Also,
she thanked me for choosing her... What
a simple and wonderfully unique gift you
have created. The best gifts are those you
can pass on and share with others.”

JOYN is a socially conscious fashion brand producing women’s accessories that
are 100-percent handmade; from spinning and weaving of cotton, to hand block
printing using ancient Indian techniques and finally stitching beautiful JOYN
products. We have two foundational beliefs: that work is essential to a meaningful
life and that community is essential to a joyful life. Our mission is to create sus-
tainable jobs for the most marginalized in the world by entering into community
with them and living among them. We purposefully move into broken communi-
ties and seek out these people, because we believe in empowering, not enabling.
THIS is why JOYN exists, to create community and a culture that empowers and
dignifies. We put work into the hands of those who deserve it, who most need it,
but who have never had a chance.
“I was having a particularly dark moment of homesickness and self-pity one day as
I was living in India. I decided to drive my scooter to our market to buy vegetables
for dinner. When I was parking I saw a woman my age who looked just like me
except she was Indian. She was begging with a naked baby on her hip. In that
instant, I realized I could have easily been born into her situation instead of my
own: poor, uneducated, unable to feed my children. It’s only by the grace of God
that He has gifted me with what I have today: a loving family, an education, work,
the list continues... I believe God put that woman in my path to teach me this les-
son which has transformed my perspective and gave me a calling to spend my life
giving opportunities to women like the one by the vegetable stand.”

Though Ana grew up in a village in Guatemala where jobs were scarce, her family
worked hard to send to her to school. This opportunity gave her the courage to
dream of how she could make an impact in her village. She launched an artisan
business that creates dignified jobs for women. Since 2011, Ana has partnered with
Noonday Collection to design beautiful, hand woven scarves. Now Ana’s business
is thriving – and so are families in her community.
Melissa is a Noonday Ambassador. After a mission trip to Ethiopia, Melissa prayed
for an opportunity to use her gifts to impact others. Becoming an Ambassador has
been an answer to this prayer, Melissa says. Last summer, Noonday Collection
invited a group of Ambassadors to travel to Guatemala to meet Ana and our other
artisan partners. Melissa was one of the women who joined this journey and heard
Ana’s story of courage. This experience empowered Melissa to become a bold advo-
cate: I want my daughters to see me use my gifts for good. I love telling them Ana’s
story. I know one day they too will have the courage to make a difference. Getting
to connect the Ambassadors has been transformative for Ana, too: knowing that we
have these women as partners motivates us to dream bigger!

raise for an 11-month mission trip Darcie
took to 11 countries. But, alas, people are
awesome. The rings and mission were
contagious. After the rings unexpectedly
funded the whole trip, they kept selling
and boom - we have a business.
Through these rings we’ve found a little,
golden, tangible solution to a problem
for most missionaries: raising funds.
Fundraising can be an awkward bur-
den even for passionate, well-equipped
adventurers. We’re all about sharing
the joy we’ve found in fundraising and
enabling others to go spread the good
news Matthew 28:19-style.

YouWood creates all wood products with a big purpose:
TO DO GOOD. Every YouWood product makes an im-
pact by sharing a percentage of the profit with one of
three causes: food for the hungry, freedom for slaves
and care for orphans. When no one else would feed the
hungry, free the slave or love the orphan, YOUWOOD.

What IF God is calling you to something BIG? We believe that He is. He is
calling you to a world-changing kind of thing. You have a purpose, and that
purpose is wrapped tightly around the heart of God. You are a rescued life
sent to rescue others. You have been set free to free others. Your purpose
is to engage the world, with all of its brokenness, and change it. YouWood
was created to give everyone the chance to put to their feet to their purpose
through their purchases.
IF no one else would, would you? Would you stand in the gap for the poor?
Would you use your resources, your time, your platform and your spending
to show the broken in our world that you see them; that they matter? What
would happen IF you decided to fully live in the created purpose for your life?
The hungry, the enslaved and the orphaned live in fear that no one will hear
them, no one will respond and no one will choose to change their future. But
what IF you did?
Show our world that “When no one else would: YOUWOOD”.

Since our inception in 2007, KK intl. has chal-
lenged the traditional forms of apparel produc-
tion and sought to create products in a way that
values people. For most of the women who make
our items, it is the first consistent employment
they have ever had. We supplement their em-
ployment with a robust three-year education
curriculum, and one-on-one mentorship for
their ongoing development. This holistic ap-
proach is what generates true empowerment.
We don’t stop there. Whether created in Uganda
or Peru, every piece is hand-signed by the wom-
an who made it. Showcasing their newly learned
literacy by spelling their own name is one of the
many feats they accomplish in the act of putting
their pen to the label. Today, there is a grow-
ing conversation around the impact of our pur-
chases on the world around us. At KK intl., we
are reimagining the relationship between you,
the consumer, and the producer. By providing
a window into the production process, as well
as the specific individual who makes each item,
you are able to connect with the global commu-
nity in new ways. As such, you are changing the
value systems that define your clothing

The May Designs brand was started when logo designer,
Mica May, couldn’t find the perfect notebook. A graphic
designer by trade, she designed a few that were just the
right size and were a little more fashion forward than
anything she could find. After a few months of carrying
them around, people took notice and wanted to buy them,
so she designed and launched a selling her first retail
product: May Books. In the past six years, she has grown
the company beyond notebooks into a lifestyle brand in-
cluding stationery and photo books and will be expand-
ing beyond paper into textiles, fashion and home decor
in the coming year. May Designs prides itself in making
every aspect of their notebooks fully customizable - in-
cluding fonts, cover patterns and inside page designs.
The notebooks and photo books feature sewn binding
and canvas covers, which makes them extra durable. The
May Designs design studio based in Austin, TX and their
team has grown to a staff of twelve. As a wife and moth-
er of thr ee toddlers, Mica is always striving to find the
perfect balance between running a business and being a
mom. One seamless way she’s been able to blend the two
is with the Rise School Art Collection of notebooks. Her
son, Jackson, 6 years old, who has Down syndrome, in-
spired a collection to help raise awareness and resources
to support early childhood intervention and education
for kids with special needs. All of the proceeds from these
patterns are given back and have been wildly successful
with the May Designs customers! Mica and her husband
Jonathan have been married for 10 years and live in Aus-
tin with their three kids.

In Radical, David Platt challenges you to consider with an open heart how we have manipulated the gos-pel to fit our cultural preferences. He shows what Jesus actually said about being his disciple--then invites you to believe and obey what you have heard. And he tells the dramatic story of what is hap-pening as a “successful” suburban church decides to get serious about the gospel according toJesus.

There are times when worship overflows easily and effortlessly from a heart full of gratitude and praise. Yet, there are other times when God seems far and we feel we have nothing left to offer. We are tired, or thirsty, or imprisoned in our own chains through our own devices, or caught in the waves of a tumul-tuous sea. This is when God shows us His steadfast love.

Pastor, leader, and blogger Eu-gene Cho has a confession: he loves justice and compassion―un-til there’s a personal cost. Using an engaging writing style that many listeners will be familiar with from his Huffington Post and Sojourners blogs, Cho confesses his idealism and invites listeners on a journey of practical disciple-ship, one that changes the world not with words, but in action, and with our lives.
