Age limit : Should not have attained the age of 40 years as on the lastdate for submission of the application i.e. 31-07-2014. Forcandidates from SC/ST category, there will be a relaxationof five years in the upper age limit.

: The salary and service conditions shall be as prescribed bythe UGC Regulations and Government orders issued fromtime to time.

: 1. Good academic record as defined by the concernedUniversity with at least 55% marks (or an equivalentgrade in a point scale wherever grading systemfollowed) at the Masters Degree Level in the relevantsubject from an Indian University, or an equivalentdegree from an accredited foreign University.a) A relaxation of 5o/o is provided for the Scheduled

Caste/Scheduled Tribe / differently abled(Physically and visually differently abled)categories.

b) A relaxation of 5oh is provided to the Ph. DDegree holders, who have obtained their Master'sDegree prior to 19 September 1991.

2. a) The candidate must have cleared the NETconducted by UGC, CSIR or similar testaccredited by the UGC like SLET / SET .

b) candidates who have been awarded Ph. D Degreein accordance with UGC (minimum standards andprocedure for award of Ph. D Degree) regulations2009 are exempted from(2 a) above.

Qualifications

The mode of selection, applicable reservation, relaxation of age and all other matters relating tothe appointment to the posts mentioned above shall be governed by the provisions contained inthe KVASU Act2011, Section 58 and Statute and orders issued by the Govemment from time totime.
