Assignment Dropbox

The Assignment Dropbox is the area where you will read assignment instructions, download files provided by your instructor, and submit assignment files.

Your instructor may link the assignments to the Calendar so you will see a reminder in the Calendar as an upcoming event on the Course Home page. It may also be listed as an Upcoming Event from the Content page.

Click the title of the file your instructor attached to download the file.

Click on the title of the assignment to see instructions and to submit files and comments to your instructor.

View the due date and time by which an assignment must be submitted.

If an assignment is closed, the date it was closed is displayed in red.

Click on “Add a file” to submit a file to your instructor.

Read the assignment instructions.

From this screen, you can also download a file your instructor has provided.

If you have a microphone, you can also create a short audio recording.

Click on the Submit button.

After you click the Submit button, you will see the filename. Click on the red “x” if you wish to delete the file.

After you submit the assignment, a “file submission” page displays with the name of the file, submission date, and file size.

A confirmation email will also be sent to your email. Keep the email as documentation that you submitted the assignment.
