THE DEVASTATION CAUSED BY THE EARTHQUAKES THAT STRUCK HAITI IN 2010 FORCED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR HOMES AND ONTO THE STREETS WHERE THEY HAD NO SHELTER. TODAY, HOMELESSNESS AND SEVERE IMPOVERISHMENT STILL AFFECT THE MAJORITY OF THE POPULATON. THERE IS A DIRE NEED FOR EASILY CONSTRUCTIBLE, LASTING SHELTERS IN HAITI. THIS PROJECT AIMS AT PROVIDING A SOLUTION TO THE CURRENT CONDITIONS IN HAITI, AS WELL AS A SOLUTION TO DISASTER RELIEF AROUND THE WORLD. THE PRIMARY GOALS OF THIS PROJECT ARE TO OFFER DISASTER RELIEF SHELTHERS THAT IS EASILY TRANSPORTABLE, EASILY CONSTRUCTABLE, ADAPTABLE, AND USE

THE LONDON FOG PROJECT ATTEMPTS TO ESTABLISH A BALANCED RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE PRIVACY OF LIVING SPACES AND THE PUBLIC NATURE OF COMMERCIAL SPACE. LOCATED IN THE URBAN DALSTON NEIGHBORHOOD OF LONDON, ENGLAND, THE ROWHOUSE DESIGN ACCOMMODATES THE LIFESTYLES OF A VARIETY OF RESIDENTS WHILE SIMULTANEOUSLY SERVING THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY
THROUGH ITS RETAIL SPACE.

PACIFIC AVENUE IS A LONG-TERM VISION FOR A 2.7 MILE STRETCH OF THE HIGHWAY 99 CORRIDOR IN EUGENE, OREGON AND THE ADJACENT NEIGHBORHOODS. THIS PROJECT AIMS AT DENSIFYING THIS PORTION OF HIGHWAY 99 BY REWRITING THE EXISITING ZONING CODE TO PROMOTE MIXED-USE, MULTI-STORY BUILDINGS WITH CONSISTENT SETBACKS. PACIFIC AVENUE CONSISTS OF THREE NODES, WHICH ACCOMMODATE THE GREATEST AMOUNT OF ACTIVITY. THE REDESIGN WILL SERVE AS A GATEWAY FROM THE PERIPHERAL LANDSCAPE
INTO DOWNTOWN EUGENE.
