PURPOSE Workshop and machinery shed

LOCATION Toodyay, Western Australia

PROJECT BRIEF

Dion Candeloro runs a broadacre farming and transport company in

Toodyay where they crop wheat, barley, canola and lupins. They required

to have their equipment fully undercover and to have room to work on the

equipment undercover to provide comfort for all staff. They had thoughts

of building a reasonable size workshop for a few years and had seen

some of our other sheds that we had built and we’re very impressed with

them.

WHEATBELT STEEL’S ANSWER

A (83m x 40m x 9.9m) structural steel shed with Universal Beam RSJ

column construction and Parallel Chord Web Truss rafter construction.

Upon measurement our drafting team were able to create a design that

included an 83m x 40m x 9.9m Canterlever Awning and tapered gutters

along both sides.
