Establishing shot

Gates of a graveyard

Bright sunny day,

Blue sky.

Only about a 3 second shot.

Cuts to the next shot.

Another establishing shot, This time inside the cemetery.

Again, a bright sunny day. NOT connoting the horror genre.

About 3 seconds,

Cuts to the next shot.

Another establishing shot, This time inside the cemetery.

Again, a bright sunny day. NOT connoting the horror genre.

About 3 seconds,

Blacks out to next shot.

Shot of a man in his kitchen, seemingly asleep on the table.

5 seconds.

Dark outside the door. Inside the doorway its light and bright.

The man is in his kitchen, These few slides will fade, but it is all one shot. Where the man lifts his head up from the table and seems to stand up. Then the shot cuts to the next. About 8 seconds long.

This is where the man has stood up and along with the next slide, walks out past the camera into the kitchen. About 6 seconds long altogether. You can see the light coming in through the window onto the table.

This cuts to a zoomed out shot of the man walking, Only about 2 seconds long, again showing him walking into the next room.

The man appears from the right and sits at the counter. Only lasts about 2 seconds before it cuts to the next shot. The light is shining in from the window he is looking in from onto him, so he is well lit. Here it cuts to the next shot cleanly.

A quick shot of the man standing at the counter. Lasts only about 1-2 seconds. There will be a reflection on the window of a garden.

Here it cuts to the next shot cleanly.

The man at the counter. Like a reaction shot, This is where he looks down to his right. Only about 2 seconds. Here it cuts to the next shot cleanly.

A close up of the man picking up the bottle of tablets. I felt this was necessary so we can see what he was looking at.

Here it cuts to the next shot cleanly.

A reaction shot of him looking at the bottle of tablets. Lasts about 2 seconds.

Here it cuts to the next shot cleanly.

He puts the bottle back down and picks up one of the tablets. Only about 3 seconds.

Here it cuts to the next shot cleanly.

This is an extreme close up of the man putting a tablet into his mouth. This was important as it gives me a range of shots and also makes what he is doing more obvious to the viewer. Here it cuts to the next shot cleanly.

We then see a close up of the man picking up the glass. Again it shows us more obviously what he is doing. Only about 3 seconds. Here it cuts to the next shot cleanly.

We then see a close up of the man putting the glass down again. Again it shows us more obviously what he is doing. Only about 3 seconds. Here it cuts to the next shot cleanly.

We see the man going back to the dining room. Here it cuts to the next scene. This is only a second or so long. Also it gives an alternative shot. The lighting in this shot is still relatively light, mainly coming from the windows.

We see the man enter the dining room from the right, walk over and pick up a photo, As he does so , it cuts to the next shot. The lighting in this is still quite light, but at the same time, quite soft. The shot lasts for about 3 seconds.

We see the photo in the mans hand and it is here when we realise the man in the photo is dead and that creates the link between this and the cemetery scene at the beginning. The scene is still softly lit and the zooms in slowly the whole time. At the end it fades out.
