ARTHUR AKHMEDOV

Sport plays an important role in our life. It gives us much pleasure and many moments of joy. There

are a lot of kinds of sports such as swimming, wrestling, cycling, box, football, hockey, athletics. All of them are useful and exciting and

help us to keep healthy.

I want to tell about my best friend. His name is Akhmedov Arthur. He is keen on rowing on kayaks and canoe. Arthur is a prize-winner of the All-Russian competitions. He was born on the 16 th of March, 1994 in Astrakhan. Arthur started boat racing when he was 11 years old. His

father Akmedov Irshad Kurbangaliyevich, a talented coach in Astrakhan trains him.

• 2 place in the All-Russian competitions for Tikhonov's prize on rowing on kayaks and canoe

• 3 place for the Cup of Ageevs- brothers

• 2 place in the sports contest "Cheerful Starts“

• and other awards

ACHIEVEMENTS

Arthur Akhmedov won 2 gold medals in the All-Russian competitions in

Astrakhan in 2008.  The same year he won  2 silver medals. In 2013 Arthur

won  1 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals.

MEDALS

I think Arthur is a real young man who has ups and downs in his sport career. I’m sure,

he can be an  example to follow to many Russian boys

and girls.
