1. Tell us more about you and your passions.

My name is Dobrescu Cristina, I’ve graduated Finances and I have a master’s degree in Financial Audit and Accountancy. I love listening to good music, to read, to watch movies, to travel – I feel inspired every time I see a new and beautiful thing. I would like to know how to play the piano and paint, but I’m confident that at one point I will learn how to.

2. What do you do? What are the activities that bring you joy, day after day?

On a daily bases I handle our project “Arta Nu Musca” (Art Doesn’t Bite) and make sure it develops every day. We come up with a lot of ideas and we try to make them come to life. Everything we do brings me joy, from a beautiful song to a good word.

3. When did you discovered your passion for art and how did you decided to give life to “Arta Nu Musca” project?

I worked as an economist for 4 years, but the moment Loredana Munteanu told me about this project, I started helping her and realized that what I was doing wasn’t enough anymore so I quit the economist job and I dedicated entirely to “Arta Nu Musca” project, project that we consider our baby.

4. What is the objective of the project? What are the directions in which you want to go and who is this for?

The objective of the project is to promote it as much young talents as we can and to create something special for them, an entity to represent them. As for directions, we want to create international projects, for as many people as possible to find out about us and about art – which really doesn’t bite.

5. Personally I noticed that Romanians are very creative. Do you think that if we would give more importance to this side we could change our image into a positive one? What is your opinion regarding this thing?

Yes, everybody has a creative spirit, is just that sometime it takes time until you realize that and of course this would change the image of our country. A creative spirit makes a lot of difference in every point of view and you just have to wish for it long enough and the rest settles in order.

6. How does art influences human behavior? Is there a connection between art and sensitizing the human behavior?

Art turns man into a beautiful and sensitive character, ready to listen the one that has the same convictions as he, makes him more aware to the beautiful. Listen to a song that says something to you and you’ll see you wish you were there, to be part of that moment.
