My Summary Tools – Detailed Overview

The ‘My Summary' Panel

• The purpose of this tutorial is to expand upon the introduction to the ULwebCerts tools

• This tutorial provides detailed information on each of the individual tools within the ‘My Summary’ panel, and how each tool can help you to navigateULwebCerts.

My 'Summary' Panel - Tools

• ULwebCerts' ‘My Summary’ panel can be used to:

• View your ULwebCerts Files

• Search active certificates

• Locate/renew expiring certificates

• View saved draft requests

• View/reissue expired or cancelled certificates

• Retrieve your Certificate of Compliance

• Generate reports:

− InvoiceAnalysis

− Certificate Inventory

− Monitoring or Issuing

• Issue a new Certificate

My Summary – ULwebCert Files

• Click ‘ULwebCert Files’ • Select your company • All file numbers associated with your company will be visible in the ‘My Files’ pop-

up box • The ‘My Files’ pop-up box also displays the following information:

• Alarm Type

• CCN

• The number of Certificates

• Provides a link to issue a new certificate

My Summary – Active Certificates

• The ‘Active Certificates’ tool allows you to manage your active Certificates • To utilize the ‘Active Certificates’ tool:

• Click ‘Active Certificates’ under ‘My Summary’

• Choose your company

• Choose the appropriate service center to search active Certificates

• Choose the file number

• Select the Certificate you would like to view

My Summary – Active Certificates

• Once you have located the desired certificate, you can:

• Replace the certificate

• Correct any mistakes on the certificate

• Cancel the certificate

• View specific details of the certificate, or

• Reprint the certificate

You can narrow your search results by selecting the filter icon

My Summary – Certificates Expiring In 60 Days This tool will show you a list of expiring certificates for a specific service center and file number. To view a list of expiring certificates:

• Select ‘Certificates Expiring Within 60 Days’

• Select your Company

• Select the Service Center

• Select the File Number

• Expiring Certificates will be listed in the pop-up box

• Once you have accessed the list of expiring certificates, you have the option to:

• Replace the Certificate • Cancel the Certificate • View Details of the Certificate • Reprint the Certificate

• You can also export a complete list of the expiring Certificates to Excel by clicking ‘Export to Excel’ in the upper right hand corner of the pop-up box.

My Summary – Open Draft Requests • All certificate requests that were saved, but not completed, can be found in ‘Open

Draft Requests’

• If you are issuing a National Industrial Certificate, you can access and print the required signature page from ‘My Open Draft Requests’

• To complete a draft

• select the desired file number from the draft request list

• Select the draft request you wish to complete

• Complete draft 10

My Summary - Expired and Cancelled Certificates • ‘Expired and Cancelled Certificates’ is where you can locate and

reissue any certificate that is no longer active • To locate expired/cancelled certificates:

• My Summary >> Choose your company >> Choose the service center >> Select the file number

• You can narrow your results by using the filter button in the top right corner (see picture)

My Summary – Certificate of Compliance

• To access your Certificate of Compliance:

• My Summary >> My Certificate of Compliance

• Fill out the required fields (highlighted in picture below)

• Click ‘Generate COC(PDF)’ • For an emailed copy, enter an email address in the ‘Email Id’ field and click

‘Send Email’

Problems Accessing Your Certificate of Compliance

If you do not see ‘My Certificates of Compliance’ and ‘Certificate of Compliance’ under ‘My Summary’:

*NOTE: Certificates of Compliance are inaccessible until your annual invoice has been paid in full.

• The ‘Reports’ tool under ‘My Summary’ allows you to generate:

• Invoice analysis reports

• Certificate Inventory Reports • Issuing • Monitoring

• Certificate of Compliance

• The format is the same for both ‘Issuing Inventory Reports’ and ‘Monitoring Inventory Reports’

• Select the report you would like to generate (Issuing or Monitoring)

• Enter the required information • File No. • SCN No • Email Id – If you would like a copy of the report emailed

• Click ‘Generate Report’

My Summary – Issue New Certificate

You can also issue a new certificate from any Certificate pop-up box

• To issue a new certificate: • Select ‘Issue New Certificate’

• Fill out the required fields (marked with an Asterisk)

• Click ‘Next Step Basic Alarm Information’

• Fill in the required information for ‘Basic Alarm Information’ • Click ‘Next Step Monitoring’

• Complete the Monitoring section of the form • NOTE: This example pertains to a central station burglary certificate.

The forms will vary based on the CCN of the certificate

• Complete the ‘Additional Information’ tab • Click ‘Confirm Certificate Information’

• Verify that all the information on the certificate is correct • If the Information is correct, Click ‘Yes, Issue New Certificate’

• If the information is NOT correct, Click ‘No, Go Back and Make Changes’
