Apprenticeships at Hinkley Point C
We have an aspiration to create1000 new apprenticeship opportunities across the Hinkley Point C project.
As one of Europe’s biggest and most high profile construction projects, Hinkley Point C presents a huge opportunity for everyone connected with it.
It’s expected that around 25000 job opportunities will be created at the new nuclear power station being built on the Somerset coast.
Commercial Apprenticeship Programme
We are looking for highly motivated, ambitious and energetic people to develop their skills to be world-class commercial professionals.
You will spend 5 years learning from experts as part of the apprenticeship and, as well as getting valuable real world experience, you will study for a university level qualification.
The construction of Hinkley Point C is one of the largest and most technologically complex construction projects ever to be built in the UK and will require a highly skilled and competent construction workforce throughout the supply chain. With a build programme of approximately 10 years and a peak workforce of around 5,600, it provides an invaluable opportunity for sustained employment and enhanced skills provision for both individuals and businesses in Somerset and the South West.
