Entry Requirements• Hold degree relevant to teaching

subject. Normally 2.2 or higher –see individual university requirements

• Grade C or above in Maths and English and also Science if applying for Primary

• Fitness to teaching (questionnaire)

• Work experience – time spent in the classroom

PGCE InterviewAll short listed candidates will be invited

to an Interview or Selection DayMay include…• Written tests• Presentations• Group Discussions• Teaching of mini lessons• Subject specific practical exercises

(e.g. music audition, sport activity)• Visit to a local school

Finance• PGCE fees for Sept ’11 - £3370 (to be

paid directly to uni)• Students can apply for means tested
