Carols in the Park

Students in Kindergarten to Year 2 are

performing at Carols in the Park this Sunday

the 9th of December, Fotheringham Park,

Taree. The entertainment starts from 6.30pm.

We invite families and friends to come along

and support our school and community.

In the new year we as a school staff will study the ‘Visible Learning’ strategies in particular Prof. Hattie’s research on what are the most effective practices of high performing schools are and putting these into practice in our school context. This will be focus on teaching pedagogy with a three year commitment for our staff.

The CTPS STEM day was a huge success a lot of fun with some valuable STEM activities held last Friday. We would like to continue this activity day next year thanks to Mrs Hood.

The Yr6-7 high school transition was held this week with our senior students visiting their respective high schools.

Congratulations to all our Year five students who wrote and delivered their speeches today. We have a fine group of students who are standing for the SRC leadership positions.

The annual school presentation day is being held on 11th Dec this year. A level 8 reward will be next Wednesday while the Yr 6 farewell will be Monday evening the 17th Dec.

Thank you to the Cundletown Public P&C for their hard work and commitment as we had our final meeting for the year on Tuesday evening. The P&C Christmas fundraiser will be drawn on Presentation day.

School concludes for students on the 19th Dec. There will be SASS & executive on site for Thursday & Friday this year.
