Complaint madeInvestigation initiatedComplainant informed in writing (with

evidence of allegation where necessary) – May be suspended by HOD

After investigation, if action is contemplated, officer must be informed in writing

Matter to be taken before the Services Commission for review/decision

Officer can have his attorney present

Commission/Officer may call such witnesses as are necessary to establish case

At conclusion of hearing, officer to be notified of outcome, penalty imposed, right to appeal

Criminal proceedings not a bar to disciplinary proceedings

If officer pleas or is found guilty
