Abstract This is an illustrated collection of Persian poetry by suchfamous poets as Hāfiẓ, Saʿdī, Jāmī, and Ṣafā. It was executedin Qajar Iran in an oblong format in the thirteenth centuryAH / nineteenth CE. The text, which is incomplete at thebeginning and at the end, is written in ploychrome shikastahscript. Fifteen paintings illustrate the text. The goatskinbinding is original to the manuscript.
