Who’s Right?

• Animal welfare is defined as the ___human_ _responsibility_ that covers all aspects of an animals well being.

This includes proper housing, management, nutrition , disease-_prevention_ and treatment, responsible care, humane handling and when necessary human _euthanasia_.

• Humans can interact with animals for _entertainment, industry, _sport and recreation. – But, this interaction should

include provisions _, that insure proper _care of the animals.

  Some animal sports that they support are _rodeo and livestock shows.

   Animal welfare utilizes scientific evidence to base animal care and handling guidelines.
