Anger In The Locale Where I Live by Greg Garceau

9/11 Terrorists Attacks, What is this?

• Here are the links to videos about that dreaded day. http://youtu.be/1lKZqqSI9-s

• And: http://youtu.be/htAFmcYBLtQ• Question is: Why, what emotions are being

expressed with these horrible attacks?

Anger vs Passion, Environmental and Political Qualities

• Here are some more applications of Anger.• Can powerful emotions like these be expressed

nonviolently and peacefully?• There are many ways to express powerful feelings.• Sometimes we express with control sometimes like a

Predator with its Prey• Many emotions are expressed without our control like

Road kill, I wonder if we projected some part of the external expression.

• Sometimes road kills can be avoided. Here are some examples.

Road Kill Out of Control emotional expression.

• Here is an example of Road kill not under our control.

Another Example Road Kill

• A little graphic but realistic. • Could the driver have avoided this beautiful

creature, were there emotional triggers that may have caused driver distractions?

Such a fatal Sacrifice my dear Fox

• I looked at this beautiful Fox and I thought could this have been avoided?

• I respond probably not, but Fox’s gift• Can be construed as a message from Nature • As we continue to build more black top roads in

the wild hidden realms of our world.• In Europe they have created Natural Road

Bridges for the animals to cross to avoid this fatal sacrifice.

How many more must die to give us the message of Spirit in Nature?

• The positive aspect of this sacrifice is to give food to the lost vulcher struggling to survive.

• Like the Wildcat stalking its prey, is this an expression of Anger?

• Such a Beautiful and Powerful Expression of Nature. Angry? Yes and No. A fact of Life.

Another Predatory Relationship

Beauty Shows itself in yet another purifying way.

• What about the Mouser Cat and his mouse.

• What would a world be overrun with mice? Or Oil?

The Journey Between Anger and Passion, Our Journey Continues

• Can I forgive her? My god, that was a different lifetime, I love her, but I probably will never see her again. Its easy to find many things that did not work out the way I thought they should have in my life. Damn, Damn, Damn that is another good question, why do we torture our environment, why do we limit and use up resources that are not renewable like water, air, and ocean? I hate it that we have as the dominant species on this planet not focused on necessary solutions here. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. We have been given total control of our environment yet we continue to abuse its fruitful resources that without we will not survive.

Let us Move to the Great River, the Columbia, Lifeblood of the Pacific Northwest

• Bonneville Dam, a few perspectives.

• Photo 1: Arial view of Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River (USA).

The Gouet dam is blocking the migration of salmon on the Gouet river (Britanny, France).

One example of Humanity’s effect on Environment

• The building of a dam generally has a major impact on fish populations: migrations and other fish movements can be stopped or delayed, the quality, quantity and accessibility of their habitat, which plays an important role in population sustainability, can be affected. Fish can suffer major damage during their transit through hydraulic turbines or over spillways. Changes in discharge regime or water quality can also have indirect effects upon fish species. Increased upstream and downstream predation on migratory fish is also linked to dams, fish being delayed and concentrated due to the presence of the dam and the habitat becoming more favourable to certain predatory species.(Larinier, 2001)

THE RIVER FLOWS DEEP BROWN

• The River Flows Deep Brown,• A volcano erupts in the background• A Nuclear Power Plant is dismantled• The Fish Swim up the River Losing too many

lives on the way.• The Paper and Pulp Mills run continuously

producing black smoke in the distance.• A New Bridge is built to speed the traffic up.

AN SUV DOMINATES THE ROADA LITTLE SARCASM FOR THE ROAD

• I have $45000, my first purchase an 8-seated SUV

• I am single man my only friend my big dog• I Drive 55 Just me and my Big Dog• Sorry for the dark gray smoke pumping out of

FISH SCHOOLS DWINDLE

• I am swimming out to the Sea to find my lifemate.

• “Where did all my classmates go? I am all alone in the muddy dark depths of this great river.”

The car is on the I205 Bridge, the driver says, “ahuh, I can’t breath.”

IS NUCLEAR FUEL CLEAN? WHERE HAVE ALL THE FISH GONE?

HUMAN SIGN VS NATURAL SIGN

• A shiney object is discarded in the wild.• Rocky Mountain Cold Refreshment for Who?• Where did they go?• Tin cans take 50–100 years to biodegrade.• So if were gone in 50 years due to Nuclear War

or Natural Disaster, our Human sign will remain for upwards of another half a century.

• Plastic bottle also in picture time to degrade forever.

Human sign 20 miles from civilization.

• 20 miles from civilization human sign is still found that if left to rot will outlive you and me, Coors Rocky Mountain High Beer Can

Hawk Flies in the Wilderness40 miles from Civilization looking for a mouse.

DEER SCAT 25 MILES FROM CIVILIZATION

• Pebbles in the wilderness.• Nope, actually deer scat 25 miles from

gone.

NEW GROWTH BEGINS IN THE WORST OFNATURAL DISASTERS

Mending her Lands, beyond all Human control.

Mother Nature Doesn’t need us to Regenerate and heal her wounds

Human Nature and Mother Nature Anger to Passionate Rebirth and Regeneration, The Gift.
