Manual Activation

For a manual activation, the cus-tomer is presented with an Activationdialog on first application launch.

A unique Request Number from thatdialog is given to the vendor. Thevendor enters it into QuickLicenseand gives the generated ActivationCode to the customer.

LicenseManager

LicenseManager is an application thatsupports software protection andlicensing for Android applications. Itcan be downloaded at no cost ontoany compatible user device.

LicenseManager offers Trial, Product, Subscription andDynamic Licenses in the QuickLicense runtime system. Itsupports License Block, Suspend, Release and Restore.

Any software publisher that purchases the Android LicenseSDK can legally distribute LicenseManager by any distribu-tion method for unlimited use with all applications they own.

LicenseManager is installed once and can be shared bymany protected applications from the same or differentvendors. A user doesn’t need to run LicenseManagerdirectly. It may be temporarily active during user input tothe licensing process for a protected application.

Automated Activation

Safe Activation is an online service toautomate the activation process.

The customer receives a SerialNumber during purchase. That SerialNumber is typed into Activation dialogto instantly activate the application.

Android License SDK

The SDK works on Android 2.2 orlater. QuickLicense runs on Mac OSX or XP, Vista, Windows 7 or 8.

The SDK includes Java interface code files, exampleapplication source code, SendMessage Android testapplication, User Guide and royalty-free LicenseManager.
