Navigation• Red colourisation as the cursor moves over interactive
buttons such as the social media semiotic symbolic signs such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.
• Red colourisation over the pre-order button for iTunes.• Border around buttons such as the “Basket” to show the
link.• Highlight over the ticket tour dates to show
interactivity and possible navigation button links to another website.

Font• The font for the masthead of the website is emboldened,
capitalised and sans serif with two varying font sizes to ensure the lines match up in a column alignment in the same respect of the column layout of the whole website.
• The standard capitalised, sans serif font for tour dates is clear and concise.
• The font used for the hyperlink to “songkick” is bold cursive sans serif and variant to the rest of the font due to the link to another website.

album.• Images are featured on the interactive hyperlink of the
official store page to showcase products.• Images on social media are linked but the homepage has

Mode of Address• There is very limited writing used in the homepage but
the mode of address conforms to personalised direct address to the audience through the plural personal pronouns of “our” in the sentence “PRE-ORDER OUR DEBUT ALBUM YOUTH IS ONLY EVER FUN IN RETROSPECT”.
• Simple sentences with imperatives as a selling techniques in “PRE-ORDER NOW”.
