After the usualParade of Teams, Mr.Lons Concepcion, the ABTournament Director, gavethe Welcome Remarks

who proudly announcedthat all teams are bona fideemployees of Ahmad N.Albinali HoldingCompany. He alsoemphasized to the playersthat the tournament isexclusively for ANASCO,and therefore every one ofthem must give their sup-port to ensure its success.

This was followed byAwarding of Certificates ofParticipation to all playersindividually, and theCertificate of Appreciationto BRAD (BasketballReferee Association inDammam) headed by theirCommissioner, Mr. Ely

Panahon, and theirSecretary General, Mr.Choy Tubaying.

Special Award wasalso given for Best inUniform which was con-ferred to IT-COM Team.

There were twogames that were held dur-ing the opening which isbetween the IT-COM ver-sus JUBAIL Team in theFirst Game, which the lat-ter won by 67-29, fol-lowed by the NEW CAMPversus NEW WORK-SHOP in the SecondGame which is a tightfight with only 9 pointslead by New Workshopover its opponent NewCamp in 61-59 result ofthe game to cap their first

win in the tournament.The games are

scheduled every Thursdaythat will start at 6:30 PMfor the first game and 8:00PM for the second game.
