Ideas

Learning starts from the filo-onto and sociogenic resources we as

humans have, and with the pleasure or not pleasure expressed by the

body’s tonus.

Ideas

The vertical posture assures security therefore relaxation,

betterbreathing and the right tonus to let the process of learning

acquired by the student.

Ideas

If we guarantee relaxation, confidence and security the student

dares to explore from within, horizontality.

Ideas

The learning will consist in that postural process from within, in each

specific body, interacting with water, an appropriation acquired through the

central nervous system, from which also will be issued sensory and motor

responses to these stimuli perceived.

Ideas

The exploration of aquatic posture from vertical to horizontal

position had to be graduated and provided with previous plan of the

class, guaranteeing that the tonus can get into its right point for

learning.

Ideas

We could save a lot of time getting rid of those unnecessary

tensions of the tonus. Learning could get a lot more efficient

and clear taking care of that.

Ideas

Depth can hinder and complicate learning

Ideas

We need a space, specially adapted to human evolution and not, in

the process of learning, waste a lot of time so the body can adapt to

the architecture of the competitive pool conceived for people who

already learnt to swim.

Ideas

Instead, we can have a space that could enrich the sensorial

system of the entire body in water, exploring all the many ways

the body can behave in the water, postures that only water can

provide to the human body.

Ideas

Learning of aquatic movement is organic, it surges from within,

from the (soma)

Our dream

Recover the legacy of honoring and respecting the water

A pool designed to fit with the PMHS that could take in count the

graduation of stimuli, respecting human evolution.

Be ready to receive students from different programs at the same

time.

A versatile pool that could let us explore the water in different

depths and disposition of the spaces, satisfying the special needs

that the different age groups have.

An efficient pool that could receive the biggest amount of students

from different programs at the same time

And the must important, free and happy students, eager to learn

because of the joy and pleasure they live in their learning

process, away of unnecessary tensions and always feeling

successful because of their own and special relation with the

Water. This is a concrete improvement to life quality of our

students.

Educate our community to behave around the water and

contribute to have a happy and growing atmosphere, contributing

to healthier, stronger and harmonious persons.

Our dream

A new aquatic education pedagogy: Aquasomatic Education

Some results

The certainty of finding in our work the possibility of

being better people in our different areas of growth.

Our best pride

We not only teach to swim, but also to live and

improve in our outlook towards life

Offering the aquatic space as a fountain of stimulation

of human potential is our vocation, the must profound

reason of our existence,

In Acuarela, our teaching is for life, we all learn, we

care for each other and we enrich ourselves.
