Who benefits?

Our goal is authentic collaboration among Maya

leaders, communities AND

national / international tourism players.

Travel should benefit indigenous communities.

Travel should engage visitors.

Tourism needs visitors.

Tourism needs locals.

On December 21,

2012 the Maya calendar

concluded Baktún13

and a new Long Count begins.

The breakthrough we would like is

learning more from the Maya themselves.

Instead of performing in shows written about them, Maya people are engaging visitors face-to-face.

Encourage visitors to learn the local lingo.
