Who are the Maya?

There are an estimated 7 million indigenous Maya living in southern Mexico and northern Central America at the start of

the 21st century.

national / international tourism players.

Travel should benefit indigenous communities.

The breakthrough we would like is

learning more from the Maya themselves.

Instead of performing in shows written about them, Maya people are engaging visitors face-to-face.

Encourage visitors to learn the local lingo.
