AmeriCorps NCCC members strengthencommunities and develop leadership skillsthrough direct, team-based service. Teamsof young adults, age 18-24, travel acrossthe country to complete projects thatmeet crucial community needs. FEMACorps members complete projectsspecifically designed by FEMA to supportdisaster preparedness and response.

AmeriCorps State & National membersengage in a diverse range of serviceprojects at local, regional, and nationalorganizations to address criticalcommunity needs of disaster services,economic opportunity, education, healthyfutures, environmental stewardship andveterans and military families.

AmeriCorps VISTA members go where theneed is greatest: to communities facingpoverty, inequity, and unemployment.VISTA members serve in a professionalsetting building partnerships, writinggrants, and organizing volunteers. Aboveall, VISTA members are catalysts forchange, working to advance local solutions.
