What is the American Red Cross?

Founded on May 21, 1881 by Clara Barton

Barton was known as the “Angel of the Battlefield”

Barton headed the American Red Cross for 23 years until her death in 1912.

the US Armed Forces and their families Teach and certify people in lifesaving skills
