• Role of Dietitians & entry into profession.

• Talks given by specialist Dietitians from many

clinical areas. Renal, diabetes, community dietetics,

paediatrics, gastroenterology

• Available throughout SET (1day)

Orthoptics

Observation Work Placement day (1/2 – 1 day)

Offered to students considering

Orthoptics as a career.

Available throughout the Trust

or the OWD

Physiotherapy Individual observational work-shadowing ‘Awareness Days’ to

school pupils from 16 years old and other students who are

considering Physiotherapy as a career. Available throughout the

Trust (1day)

Open days available in LVH - 2 / year ( up to 10 Pupils )

Criteria for attending

Interested in pursuing Physiotherapy as a career

16 years / Post GCSE level

Live or attend a school / college within the South Eastern Trust geographical area

Podiatry

Observation Work Placement day (1/2 – 1 day)

– To those considering Podiatry as a career.

– Available throughout the Trust

– Aim to allow student to understand the role of a

podiatrist . Includes e.g. Session in a specialised

Clinic e.g. Ulcer Clinic, Diabetic Clinic

– Arranged on request through Charter Work
