What happens in this chapter?• Alice and the animals arrive on the shore, but

they are wet because they have been swimming in the pool of tears.

• They see the dodo standing on top of the mount (a small rock), he is singing and moving around.

• Alice asks the Dodo ‘How do we become dry?’

• He replies ‘The best thing to get us dry would be to have a caucus race!’

• The animals and Alice start to run around to become dry.

• The white rabbit approaches Alice and asks her a question…

Chapter 4 : The rabbit sends a little Bill.

What happens in this chapter?• The white rabbit approaches

Alice and asks her ‘where are my gloves and my fan?’• He asks Alice to go to his

house to find these items.• When Alice enters in the

house, she finds the rabbit’s gloves and fan.• She also finds a bottle with

‘DRINK ME’ written on it.

• Alice drinks the contents of the bottle and suddenly she grows and becomes the size of the house (giant).

• The rabbit cannot enter in to his house.

• The rabbit sends for help, and a lizard called Bill climbs in through the chimney.

• The animals begin to throw pebbles at Alice and they transform in to cakes.

• Alice finds a cake and eats it, then she becomes smaller.

• She leaves the house and enters in to the woods where she meets a caterpillar…
