In ALA classes, student cohorts engage in rigorous coursework and activities. Students are taught by a team of ALA teachers who are committed to developing their students leadership ability, which eventually will allow them to excel in an innovative , global community. ALA exposes students to independent study, community service and individual research projects, while developing leadership skills . ALA Independent Study Experiences develop confident leaders—a quality top colleges identify as desirable in applicants and critical to success in college.
Curriculum Requirements for ALA
In order to graduate in the Academic Leadership Academy, students will: ⇒ Meet High School Graduation and College Entrance Requirements ⇒ Successfully Complete, present, and defend a Senior Research Project ⇒ Complete 90Community Service Hours by the End of the Senior Year ⇒ Complete 7 AP credits in area of college and career interest
