Invitation to TenderThree Runway System ProjectContract 3104 – Building Information Modelling Consultancy Services (Contract 3104)

The Airport Authority Hong Kong (the “Authority”) is planning for the expansion of the existing two runway system atHong Kong International Airport (HKIA) into a three runway system (the “Project”).

This Contract includes the provision of strategic advice on the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM)techniques for the Project, preparation of BIM standards, guidelines, procedures and other requirements forimplementation by design consultants and works contractors and checking design consultants’ deliverables forcompliance with the specified BIM requirements. Implementation of BIM during the construction stage is excludedfrom this consultancy.

The Authority hereby invites tenders from consultants with PROVEN EXPERIENCE and the CAPABILITY to providethe above BIM services. Suitable consultants need to demonstrate previous experience and capability on BIMplanning and implementation in the design and construction of major construction works.

Tenderers will be required to pay a non­refundable fee of HK$500 (in the form of a cashier order payable to “AirportAuthority”) when collecting the tender documents and submit a tender bond in the amount of HK$500,000 with thetender.

Tenders for this Contract shall be submitted to the Authority not later than 14:30 (Hong Kong time) on 30 July2015.

All costs associated with any submission in response to this notice shall be entirely the responsibility of the applicant.
