AIESEC Danang proudly introduces OUTSIDE YOU project, with our belief
to make a positive change in our society by making impact on the
youth through our learning events, practical experiences and social
campaign.
PROJECT INTRODUCTION
AIESEC Danang, with the vision of peace and fulfillment of humankind's potential, is doing
our best to improve the situation. Coming up with the initiative of educating youth about
society, culture… in a global experience perspective, following the success of previous
projects (40 Days Advance Yourself, Vietnam 3D, UP Camp, Global Passport 1, 2, 3; Zero
Plus, MASK, ASEAN, iNature, etc)
Located in Southeast Asia, Vietnam is a beautiful and peaceful country, with the 4000-year-
old culture and proud history. Although Vietnam experienced many painfully historical
events such as: invasion, wars to gain independence, Vietnamese people still maintain their
own cultural identities such as Tet Holiday, Ancient Customs, Etc. Nowadays, due to global
integration, Vietnamese youth need to have more understanding about national values,
namely national pride, local cuisines, folklores and so on. Besides, global mindset,
international cultural understanding and essential soft-skills are also the alert issues to adapt
to the international environment.
4
Culture is the invisible bond which ties people together
and the way to connect countries all over the world to
contribute to a peaceful planet. Vietnam and also other
countries have become more globalized to get more
culture understanding and create a global environment
and international platform for the youth.
But the fact now is that the youth are lack
of knowledge about national and
international culture, they are also facing a
very big language barrier which prevents
them from adapt to global competitive
environment and many opportunities
outside the world.
We believe that with this promising project, we can create a
chance to explore languages through that to explore culture to
help Vietnam youth to experience languages and we are going
to have more generation that will become Culture ambassadors
that will help to connect the world, who will live and work as a
global citizen and also help Vietnam closer to the world
community.

ATTRACTIVE
DESTINATIONS
Cham Museum: Established by French
archaeologists in 1936, the Cham Museum houses
the world's finest collection of Cham art. Many of the
statues, sculptures and reliefs were discovered at
nearby My Son, a former ancient capital of the
Cham and now a UNESCO designated World
Heritage site.
Hoi An Ancient Town: Listed as an UNESCO World
Heritage Site, Hoi An is a quaint city with river flowing
beside the streets. Most travelers will rate Hoi An
close to the top of their list of places to visit in
Vietnam. It’s truly an ancient place of surprising
beauty and marvel.
Bana Hills: Bana Hills has long been considered almost
heavenly thanks to the temperate climate with four seasons
within a single day, unspoiled forest and a spectacular view
of Danang. This Bana telpher system named in Guinness
World Records. The four world records are: the longest
single-wire cable car system (5,771.61 m), the highest
difference between the departure and arrival terminals
(1,368.93 m), the longest non-stop cable (11,587 m), and
the heaviest cable roll (141.24 tones).
Marble Mountains: The Marble Mountains are rocky
limestone outcrops jutting out of the beach just
south of Danang. It has a lot of the beautiful caves
and when we climb to the top of this mountain we
can see the whole Danang City. Today, the Marble
Mountains are home to various artisans producing
sculpture and artwork at its base.
Danang Beaches: There are some beautiful
beaches with white sand stretches and it is
renowned for both its spectacular beauty.
Nowadays, the beach is home to luxurious resorts,
surfing and entertainment facilities.

SPECIAL FOOD
Pho – Rice Noodle soup: No matter what time day or night, a
steaming bowl of pho noodle soup has never been hard to find
in Vietnam. Pho is a Vietnamese national dish with pride all over
the world.
Quang Noodle: Quang noodle soups differ than most normal noodle
soups in that the soups have just enough broth to barely cover the
noodles.
Crepe Wrap (Banh Xeo): Banh Xeo is a crisp, savory crepe which
often comes served stuffed with cooked meats, bean sprouts and
fresh herbs. This stuffed crepes are then wrapped again in sheets of
lettuce with an optional added garnishing of basil, mint and mustard
leaves.
Vietnamese baguette: “Banh mi” is another of Vietnam’s
staple street foods generally found sold in small, street side
stalls. It appears as one of the most delicious street food in the
world by The Guardian.
Street food: This is the favorite and popular food of students and
teenagers in Danang. It’s so cheap and tasty.
