What is Amnesty International?

Advocates for global Human Rights

•Campaigns against Human Rights

violations across the world

•Aims to empower individuals, by raising awareness of Human Rights issues.

What does the AI Club do?

•Increase awareness of human rights violations occurring worldwide on a local scale

•Collaborate with Amnesty International Thailand and help them with their projects

•Aims to foster an understanding of fundamental Human Rights, both in school, and in the Thai Community

Initiatives we Have Undertaken as a

Club•Petition signings, which were sent to World Leaders in Iran, Myanmar, and Yemen

•Comfort Women campaign, which strove to obtain an acknowledgment of the suffering these women went through

•Currently working with a Refugee Center in Rangsit, to provide children with a proper education
