Alan Gerardo (1991) was born, lives and works in Monterrey, Mexico. He is currently studying the fourth year of Industrial Design at UANL, in Mexico. At the same time, he develops projects for local and foreign companies, as well personal projects too.

His work focuses on the fields of furniture and product design. It’s characterized by providing an essence to simple objects of our daily life, which are born after a rational work of observation and research.

Considered by Adweek among the select group of “Talent 100” of 2011. Winner of the People’s Choice Award in RTT Funky Visualization Contest 2011 in Munich, Germany, and currently finalist of the 5th National Furniture Design Competition DIMUEBLE 2012 (Mexico).

His work has been exposed in Paysalia 2011 in Lyon, France and published in a variety of sites, among which are Tuvie, Yanko Design, and Trend Hunter.
