TheworkisperformedinconsultationwiththeAssociateandAssistantDeansonfiscalprojectsincludingannualbudgetbuilding,budgetstatusreportsandbudgetreconciliation.ResponsibilitiesincludemaintainingtheCollege'saccountingsystemsaswellasreconciliationactivitiesinvolvingGeneralPurposeRevenue(GPR)fundsinparticular.TheGeneralPurposeRevenue(GPR)expendituresin2011-2012wereinexcessof$182millionand2011-2012expendituresfromallfundstotaledover$337.5million.

Thepositionmaintainsaccountsandprovidesaccountinginformationtoawidevarietyofstakeholders,includingcolleaguesintheBudgetOfficeaswellaskeycontactswithinAdministrationandacrossthewidevarietyofunitsintheCollege.InitiatesbudgettransfersacrossthecollegeandcoordinatesfundtransfersfromcampustoL&Saswellaswithotherschools/collegesandcampuspartnersasnecessary.Interpretsandanalyzesaccountingdataandservesasakeyresourceonfinancialmatters.
